Thanks to the intrepid folks who came to our POETRY READING with postcard giveaway on October 17th and made it lively and interesting.

The Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough, in coordination with Peterborough Poetry Project, held an outdoor poetry reading on Saturday, October 17th at 11 a.m. at the rear of the building opposite Twelve Pine. Rachel Sturges, former NH youth poet laureate, and Bill Chatfield, founder of Peterborough Poetry Project, each read poems from their first books of poems.
Both books are available now at Toadstool Bookshops in Peterborough and Keene. See "Books" page for more info.

See "Books" page for how to order our books: "On and Off the Road: Poems of New Hampshire,"  "Out of Darkness," "you, genesis" a new book of poems by Rachel Sturges, a former NH Youth Poet Laureate, and our newest anthology, "Day after Day in Quarantine."

See "Contests" page for info on our latest contest - publication and cash prizes.

Peterborough Book Fair

The rejuvenated Peterborough Book Fair was a success!   We thank the more than a dozen booksellers, the 6 local authors, Monadnock Writer's Group, poetry contest assessors, the almost 2 dozen volunteers, multiple sponsors, and the visitors for making this a lively event! Unfortunately, the advent of COVID-19 prevented a second fair in 2020.
